About Us
Meet Malpractice Theory
Malpractice Theory was founded by Mo Hoffman, Esq., EMT-P, who brings over fifteen years of medical and legal experience to every case review. Combining a deep understanding of medical records with legal expertise, Mo has the unique ability to identify potential malpractice even when traditional reviews fail.
The idea for Malpractice Theory came when Mo, while speaking with a fellow medical malpractice attorney, identified a theory of liability that an expert had missed on a high-damage case. Realizing the gap between medical expert reviews and legal case evaluation, Mo founded Malpractice Theory to provide law firms with a higher probability of uncovering valid malpractice.
Previously, while defending medical malpractice cases, Mo frequently challenged expert opinions. Transitioning to the plaintiff’s side, he noticed that potential cases were often overlooked or misjudged, giving him the insight to create a specialized review service.
